A native of Montreal, Lucia is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Ottawa. She has been practising in Northern Ontario for more than 18 years, and Cochrane, ON is home.
Lucia is a skilled advocate, proud mother, and the Senior Legal Counsel of a respected practice with two junior associates, and offices in Timmins and Cochrane, ON. A gifted teacher, Lucia is an employer of choice, with a committed team of students, assistants and clerks. Lucia has trained many lawyers and sent them on to successful careers all over Canada.

Dominique J. Cheff

Dominique was called to the Ontario Bar on May 28, 2020 following her articles with our firm. She obtained her Baccalauréat ès sciences sociales spécialisé avec majeure en science politique et mineure en droit at the University of Ottawa in 2016 and subsequently earned her Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) in French at the University of Ottawa in 2019. Dominique is an Associate in both our Cochrane and Timmins offices and provides bilingual services to northeastern Ontario communities.
During law school, Dominique was awarded the Regional Senior Justice Prize in 2019 for obtaining the highest mark in the Appellate Advocacy course in French. She was also member of the Admissions committee for the University of Ottawa’s Programme de common law en francais during the 2018-2019 academic year.
Originally from Cochrane, ON and proudly franco-ontarienne, Dominique has been employed with our firm as a student since 2014. She has chosen to return to northeastern Ontario to reconnect with her roots and is looking forward to continuing to provide access to justice to surrounding communities.
